Job Description/Duties
- Install and set-up the CAD tools (software) in an IC design environment
- Day-to-day support of IC designers
- Development of scripts to improve the design environments
- Organize and/or provide trainning courses on methodologies and assicated EDA tools for the designers
- CAD vendor and design-kit development team interface to provide feedbach
On the performance and quality of the tools
- Test new CAD software and library releases to guarantee that they meet the highest quality standards
- Be committed to contunuously improve CAD tools and recommend/deploy new tools in order to improve designers productivity
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or software engineering
- Knowledge of advanced IC design tools (exerience with Cadence/Mentor would be an advantage)
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX and experience in programming (shell, C/C++ , PERL, JAVA, etc.)
- Good knowledge of english (reporting to U.S. manager)
2-3 years experience required
